Since the spring of 2002, City College students have been successfully organising the Students’ Spring Symposium every May. Over the past 17 years the Students’ Spring Symposium (or S3 as it has become known) has become a celebration of student co-operation and ingenuity, a time for provocative thinking and interaction. This year we are proud to continue the tradition and invite you to present your ideas to the 18th International Students’ Spring Symposium. The general idea of the Symposium is to present student projects, research and ideas, on topics relevant to their studies and academic interests.
Major topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Advertising & Public relations
- Applied Linguistics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cognitive Neuroscience
- Foreign Language Teaching
- Internet and Security
- Mental Health
- Research in Psychology
- Start-up & Entrepreneurship
- Social Networks
- Software Development & Engineering
- Translation & Interpreting
All students are welcome to submit an extended abstract (1-2 pages) to the secretariat of the symposium (firstname.lastname@example.org) for a review. Theoretical and empirical papers are equally valued.
